Well it's corny af.

I'm really glad he doesn't and that he doesn't do his little gay intros either.

The intros at the beginning of MMLP2 songs like the 'rap god' intro, are classic.

Things need to be cinematic and everything... not just his bars, but even intros and shit, need to be in-line with the feel of the song or it's corny and unrelated.

I've always found it corny as fuck the way rappers shout out their labels and producers and shit. If it's just like a battle rap track then it''s no big deal... but to shout 'shady' or a date or some people on his label if the song is some kind of... flight of fiction or a story or has a mood or tone to it... it's just really stupid, imagine an actor shouting out the director's name mid-scene, it'd look ridiculous.

It's corny and there's no need for it. It breaks the art. It's something you do as a teenager.

That made me laugh so hard. You're dead right. But Em usually said Shady/Aftermath in collaborations or songs that aren't on his albums. Only album song I can think of where he said that is Encore.

Yeah that kinda stuff was being shouting from Encore > Re-Up when he was bringing loads if new rappers into his label. No need for him to do that anymore + it does sound pretty fake
