Eminem and grammar

"between you and I" in Superman is incorrect, even though tons of people make that mistake. And he obviously only structured it that way because of the rhyme scheme.

So is "it's you and I" in Brain Damage, which is again structured that way to fit the rhyme scheme, and it's also a childhood bully who is saying it, which makes it fit perfectly.

Some of it's for the sake of syllable count/rhyming scheme, and the other part if just being ignorant of it.

He may say something wrong in casual conversation, but it's clear that when he's writing lyrics, the rhyme is what he's thinking about, not the grammar.

"how fucked up is you?" He would never say that outside of his lyrics.
