How in anyway does Stronger Than I Was even slightly begin to relate to Drug Ballad? Same can be said for Amityville and The Monster.

Or maybe all of them.

Naw you crazy.

Bad Guy & Parking Lot make sense, conceptually.

Then the drop in to RoR is fucking godly and RoR actually feels like a 'mmlp 2.0', it's funky, thumping, sarcastic, the tone is there but the delivery is advanced and evolved... it's perfect.

Then the wheels fall off, big-time.

We go from the perfection of those three tracks in to So Much Better which sounds like TES meets Encore, then we have Survival which sounds like what it is - a made-for-stadium by-the-numbers rap-rock track... which is fine, he's fucking awesome on it, but again totally out of place with the vibe of MMLP, and random as fuck.

Then we pick back up with Legacy which is obviously reminiscent of the vibe of Stan due to the rain / mood but the rapping is hella Recovery-esque; although, due to the mood of it, this track can still easily pass for an MMLP2 track.

And we can go down the tracklist and all the tracks are individually awesome but it's possibly his most uneven and random album. Positively - he took A LOT of BIG risks, on the album you would least expect him to take risks on given that the legacy of the title is so precious... so that says a lot of good things about where he may be at artistically, to even have the balls to a) do it but then b) do shit like Berzerk and So Far.

All in all the album is fun as fuck, but the vibe/concept of MMLP2 falls apart after RoR as he/Rick try to make it align with the current trend of B.o.B-esque ''eclectic'' albums which is just a metaphor for an album with no identity, so just ''try everything at once''.
