It's mainly because 10 years ago Em kept mocking and criticizing teen-pop artists, and saying things like "Nobody listens to techno". So it'd be very hypocritical of him to rap on a David Guetta song, for example.

Artists like Kanye have an easier time experimenting with other genres, because he hasn't been so anti about them. Sure, he still gets a bit of criticism, but it isn't anything close to what Em would get.

From a personal point of view, I wouldn't be annoyed if Eminem collabed with someone like Justin Timberlake, for example. However, I probably wouldn't want him to, because even though Justin Timberlake has done great songs with 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, T.I., etc, I know Eminem would get a lot of criticism for it, and would lose a lot of respect, so even though I could potentially like the song, I wouldn't want Em do do one, if that makes sense.
