Hi everyone

Frequent lurker, first-time poster.

First, a little introduction:

I've been a fan of Eminem's since high school, back when TES dropped, and I fell in love with it (and Em ). It was the first time, coming out of my pop-obsessed middle-school era, that I started to really appreciate lyrics. In my 15-year-old head, I was like "damn, this is good." the way he made every word count-- you know? Since then, I've fallen in love with MMLP, then SSLP, enjoyed Relapse on and off, depending on my mood, and even found space in my heart for Encore (in a guilty-pleasure sort of way), and learned to love/appreciate Recovery for what it is (sometimes I absolutely love it, other times, it irritates the crap out of me. Can I get an amen?). In short, that's my little generic debut to the TR Shady world. Please accept me, I'm begging for acceptance.

This is (most likely) the last thing I'll say on this. If you read my original post, you know what I'm going on about, but if not, I'm not really going to explain it, because then I'll just go on yet another tangent, and I just need to stop.

I really should have thought more carefully about posting this argument here (about Hailie looking like Em, rather than KIm), and I realize that now. I was merely venting and fishing for validation, but the thread was doomed from the start, and I should have known that. The people who know what I am talking about, know what I am talking about, and people who don't see what I see, aren't going to be convinced without some good photographic evidence. This is perfectly rational and understandable. Suffice it to say that if you pay a bit more attention to more pictures, you should see it. But, if I can't give you concrete evidence of the similarities (again, not allowed to post pictures...plus, invasion of privacy, blah blah...which is fine), then you have no obligation whatsoever to believe me.

So this is me saying, forget all my other ramblings, if you want. I'm actually trying to delete them, hopefully they go away soon. If you feel me, you feel me, if not, I can't reasonably expect you to just take me on my word, so this thread will just spin around in circles if I don't just... retract it, now.

Yeah, though, exactly. She doesn't look completely unrelated to Kim (to be clear, I wasn't saying that), but I think Em wins by a landslide. Thank you for the validation. It means a lot to me. Nate looked a lot like Em around 2002, when he was a teenager, because he was trying to copy Em, but since then he's developed into his own person. He goes to tanning salons XD. Now the only thing they really have in common physically is the small build.

I agree... they resembled one another (hairstyles and clothing and whatnot) back then, and insofar as Nate hadn't fully developed physically, they looked enough alike, but just straight features-wise, I think they look mad different now, at least.

I suppose it is likely that people have different definitions of what the term "looks like" means. To me, it means having the same physical (namely facial) features and facial bone structure (or to share a good amount of them, or whatever). Just having physical characteristics in common (i.e. "look at that one person's nose on that other person's face!" type thing) To others, it might mean things like dressing in a similar style, walking or standing similarly, having similar hairstyles, having some of the same facial EXPRESSIONS, posing similarly in pictures...just being the same "type." "Coming off" in a similar way. And by THAT criteria, I can kind of see where one might get the impression of Hailie looking like Kim. But feature-by-feature, nahh...

But anyhoo, I think we're on the same page, so that's cool.

Thanks for being cool, guys. I just wanted a bit of assurance that I'm not out of my mind for thinking/seeing this, and I got it, which is great. I know it's a lame (not to mention pointless) topic to discuss, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't "just me." I feel much better now.

I look nothing like my half-brother (he looks like his father, I look like mine), so half-brothers doesn't necessary have to look anything alike.
