It's one of my favourite movies of all time, and not just because Em's in it. I used to be overly obsessed with it when I was younger

It still is one of my favorite movies of all time aswell, I think just the feel to it and the rap battles make it a really good movie.

I enjoy the movie, but it feels a little slow to me at some points.

I still love it as much as I did when I first went to see it in theatres. The lack of tattoos on his arms always throws me off haha

Not one of my all time favorites but I loved it back then... I've seen it like 3-4 times after that & it was always good enough for me.

Actually got my mother to watch it with me a few weeks back and at the end she was like "wait.. that's it?!". She enjoyed it more than she thought she would, but was disappointed with the ending. I can see where you and her are coming from with the shortness~ of it. Some parts should have been cut to give a better and possibly longer post-battle ending.

when it came out i thought until the ending that he will perform lose yourself in it.
i thought the scene in the lose yourself video where he performe the song, were from the actual movie until i got dissaponted at the end. But as i got older i understand that it wouldnt have fit in the movie. maybe in a 8mile part 2. now i think is a great movie, above average but not one of the greatest of all time.

To be honest I felt the same way back in the day... but it was probably the only possible way to end. If it went on with like the beginning of his success from there on it would be probably harder to get to a better end of it as that would have been like a whole new beginning.

I watched it shortly after I started listening to Em's music (about a month after Recovery came out) and I really liked the movie. I felt Em's acting was phenomenal and the message of the movie is inspirational and at the same time, humbling.

I'll have to watch it again. I've only seen it 3 times.

I've seen it over 100 times easy. The first summer that it was out on DVD I watched it two times a night for two months straight. I was slightly obsessed.
