Man, I remember throwing on Cold Wind Blows right when that shit leaked and I had the album downloaded. I listened to it, and I smiled. Talkin' 2 Myself came on, and I smiled even bigger because of his voice and delivery. I remember thinking "he's back" :worship:

Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Well, the very first track I listened to was 25 To Life. I don't know why, but the name really stuck out and I was interested in hearing it. And I loved it on first listen, and I bump that shit constantly. I'd add it to my list of favorite Em tracks ever, and it was instantly my favorite song off of Recovery. Then I listened in order.

On Fire came on, and I was like :o
I replayed it

I thought Recovery was phat as fuck when it first leaked. I immediately burned a CD and began letting people listen to it. Almost everyone loved it. I bumped that shit every day in my car for like...a month and a half. Without changing the CD lol, that's how much I loved it

I want him to make another album, already. I'm ready for another one, too lol

When I first went through 'Recovery', "On Fire" made my jaw drop.
I was like: :confusion: (Woah), then :shifty: (he's back), then :o
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

It always pisses me off before Eminem albums are released, because there are literally about 20,000 fake tracklists doing the rounds, then fake CD Artwork, then stupid "teaser tracks" which is basically an obscure Eminem verse from 1998 and put over a shitty instrumental. Not to mention the hundreds of threads on various forums from different people claiming they have heard it and their reviews. Oh yeah we also get fake lyrics, and outlandish rumours about potential collabs on the album. Anything else I forgot?

I never see that amount of anticipation/hype for any other artist, before their album drops.

Im about to get Stanny in this bitch, but i have a soft spot for half the songs on Recovery cause i have fond memories of listening to them in the summer when they leaked, before i had to worry about life shit and everything like i do now.

Same here. I don't know why but every single time I listen to Space Bound, it makes me think of this past summer. And it makes me want summer back!

Yeah Recovery always reminds me of the summer. I wish we could get another album in the summer of 2011. Now the Grammys are over theres just Space Bound being a single left for this Eminem - Recovery era so hopefully it wont be long before a new album.

Now I have Gaga hype so Eminem can wait.

I always copy the album on my phone, then hear the whole album before I sleep.
Remember when I did that with Relapse. I could not stop listen to Stay Wide Awake and Same Song & Dance :worship: :worship:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I've always liked Eminem but I wasn't like a big fan of him, not because I found him bad, no, just because I didn't listen enough to him :). Somewhere in July, I heard Not Afraid on the radio and I felt in love with the song. I immediately searched for his album and downloaded Recovery, and it was the first album I just listened to, without skipping songs. It's unbelievable but Not Afraid made me an Eminem fan :D. After that I downloaded all his other albums and I knew some of his songs before but there were a lot of songs wich I never heard of. And now I'm about the biggest Stan :flutter:
