No...it was absolutely for sales. Em had no say on Rihanna being on the hook. He probably got it with Skylar Grey on the hook and the Record Label put Rihanna on it.

They put Rihanna on the hook because the controversy of the Chris Brown incident would make for more publicity, which means more money.
