Kim had AMAZING rhyming given the constraints he placed on himself. Excuse Eminem for allowing the realism of the voice-acting (while he's killing his girlfriend) to take precedence over multi-syllabic rhyming.

You see, with Eminem back then, he knew exactly where a rhyme would fit and where it wouldn't. It was a perfect decision to stop rhyming when he slit her throat, and go back to prose. It wouldn't be nearly as horrifying/vivid if he stayed in the verse form.

That's exactly my point. The song was good, but whether it be restraints or whatever, his rhyming wasn't as good as 'The Kids'. Thanks for proving it for me.

Kim is my favorite song on MMLP & possibly my favorite Eminem song of all time. Fuck with me

Nope. His rhymes didn't have as many syllables as the rhymes in The Kids. That doesn't mean his rhyming wasn't as good, though.

As has been said, this comparison just can't be made. With what Eminem was trying to do in Kim, he gets an A+ in execution. With what he was trying to achieve in The Kids, he gets an A+ as well.

Kim was the song that made me realize Eminem is a genius.
