TBH Take From Me is the worst song on the EP IMO,his flow is choppy and very un-smooth,delivery is good, rhyming is okay, and i hate the subject.

while Welcome 2 Hell and Above The Law take the cake for me,Em won W2H while royce won Above the Law. :worship:

First of all, you're not teaching me anything. You're telling me that you prefer creative 2 syllable rhymes to average (creatively) 7 syllable rhymes. Cool. I don't because sonically and in structure-wise, the mutis in this song are impressive. I would go as far as saying that it is superior to the old BME records with the exception of Renegades and maybe Nuttin' To Do & Scary Movie. Rhyming wise, of course. I would W2H 3rd or 4th in BME's discography though.

Well first of all, when did I say anything about 2 syllable rhymes...and yes, I prefer creative 3-4 syllable rhymes to average 7 syllable rhymes. Especially when he uses them in this flow, the rhymes may look better on paper but deffinitely not as good in the final product. I prefer these rhymes

This bitch wanted to blow me, I said, "It oughta happen.
You swallow cum bitch?" "No, but I brought a napkin"
Gettin skullie while I'm autographin
Got my daughter laughin cause I sent her mother whitewater raftin

over anything on Welcome 2 Hell.

So, listen again?...

I still here know energy or anger in his DELIVERY. You wanna here a good delivery, go look up Savage Classical Harpsichord :coffee:

To call that TERRIBLE is wrong class.

But, in all honesty, i agree with you. Take from me IS the best track on the EP especially because its real (from both the guys). Dont know why people say its a stupid concept. Koolo leaked Eminem's most personal track and tracks these guys truly believed in and totally disturbed their creative flow. And that "melodramatic" excuse given by Mike is flawed if you agree that his first three albums were also melodramatic. (Kim, White America)

Also, i think the lure of a concept on the Reunion and a difference in flow has clouded people's vision. For such a SIMPLE story (not intricate) its execution is sloppy particularly the end.

Welcome 2 Hell > The Reunion >>>>>>> Take From Me

I used to like The Reunion better, but it's not got a lot of replay value for me.

Bolded ones:

Not bad punchlines by any means, creative and funny. Yes, the stake/raw/rare line has been used somewhat before, but he proposes it well.

Italicized ones:

Nothing TOO creative, but hilarious, yes. You mad cuz you a Gaga fan :shifty:

Underlined ones:

Just whatever, not good or bad, just kinda...there

The rest:

Forgettable.

Welcome 2 hell is by far the best track on the EP in my opinion. Just raw spitting over one of the best Havoc beats I've heard in a long time, no cheesy singing/hook, great chemistry between them and it actually has a good punchline:

As long as I got two balls to palm, I'll be the bomb, you're just false alarm

Fast Lane, The Reunion and maybe Above the Law are cool as well. My only real complaint about the EP would be the inclusion of Lighters which is another embarrassing flaw in Eminem's legacy. I'm all for that Royce da 5'9" gets some recognition in the mainstream but it shouldn't be such a cheesy track that kicks the door in.

I'm not saying that the rest is cool stuff but that it doesn't bother me and it is what it is.

My two favourite songs as well. I was dissapointed with Take From Me, think it got a little overhyped but I still think I'm On Everything was the worst track on the album.

These are fantastic, of course. If we're counting Royce, I like these rhymes as much as the ones above:

"This gotta be no fair
This like hitting lottery, oh yeah
Who you know hotter, there gotta be no pair
Shotty that I got a lobotomy, yo' hair"

I honestly prefer the Eminem lines I listed a post ago. His rhymes are structured despite his fast flow. Unlike, Won't Back Down. His fast flows that irritate are songs like Loud Noises and at the end of his Lighters verse. Where his rhymes are all over the place. W2H is not the case.

I still here know energy or anger in his DELIVERY. You wanna here a good delivery, go look up Savage Classical Harpsichord :coffee:

This song is KNOWN and PRAISED for its high level, intense energy. The lines I posted have an unimaginable level of energy. The ending back and forth of Welcome 2 Hell is pure, intense raw spitting to the core if you can't hear it then :confusion:

The only TERRIBLE (key word: terrible) punchlines there are the shit ones and maybe the I don't love the hoes/hose one. Everything else ranges from great to sub-par.
