Most of your complaints about the "Old Eminem" are referencing his style from Encore. The Eminem Show was almost completely about his life. His drug use didn't really become a problem until Encore and beyond, at least in how it was affecting his music.

The "New" Eminem is great, as far as I'm concerned, but you're not looking at his entire catalog, and you're missing out on some great stuff. Yeah, songs like Big Weenie aren't all that impressive. Listen to Sing for the Moment, or Stan, and tell me those aren't great songs.

i know that the old em has some beautiful songs, like when i'm gone,beautiful, mockingbird, those songs were beautiful, i amost cried when i listened mockingbird, but i'm just really happy he changed.

I think you seem to like him better as a person now. He definitely seems to be happier. I can understand liking him better as a person.

Many people here can agree he's doing better in his life now, but they may enjoy his old music more.

Don't let anyone make you feel strange for liking his new music more, it makes sense that you like his more positive and uplifting work, especially since you have to translate the words into your own language. You like the songs for their content, not necessarily their rhyming.

There's nothing wrong with that. As you get better with English, you'll be able to understand him without translating the lyrics, and you can go back and listen to the older songs and hear the rhyming as it's meant to be heard. Then, you can decide whether or not you like the old songs for the rhymes, even if the content is a little bit vulgar.

He definitely seems to be a better person now, and if I had to guess, I would say he's happier than he's been for a very long time. I like the "new" Eminem as a person more than the "old" Eminem for sure.
