Relapse = Classic?

No... it is not a classic. People seem to misuse that word a lot. If the album was really a classic, people would still be bumping it today. It would have made an impact on the horrorcore genre, it would have done something significant.

But, it did not.

Not for me, but not for a lot of the reasons listed by other people.

The problem I had with it was the delivery. It really hurt the albums replay value and legacy.

I can see how for some people beautiful ruins the album but i think it fits perfectly and compliments the flow of the Album even though it has a totally different sound. Its like a Flashback. Like in a movie a flashback is shown to give an explanation of the events happening in the storyline even though the tone of the flashback scenes may differ considerably from the current screenplay but yet it helps in forwarding the storyline. In Relapse Beautiful perfectly conveys Eminem's condition and feeling at that time. Deja Vu is fucking brutal and creates a detailed picture of Eminem's addiction and his lifestyle but it cannot achieve what the next song does- delving into the psychology of Marshal at the time.
