The evidence to suggest he is aware and was being sarcastic is overwhelming in comparison to what you're suggesting. To suggest the mind behind The Marshall Mathers LP wasn't aware he was saying a silly pun and being sarcastic with it is, kinda silly.

I don't believe he was directing it at fans @ food references, it was a bad pun, but it's more him being somewhat lazy by not restraining himself from saying it rather than him thinking he's clever for it. He even apologies for the corniness of the metaphor in "You're Never Over", it's like he can't help himself, but I think it's a stretch to say he isn't aware, or isn't being sarcastic.

I see it on tv all the time and every time i do, i listen to it hoping to "get" something i'm missing. The song's not awful, granted, but it sounds so.... hollow. Like, maybe its the drums that are too light, maybe its the Adam Levine hook, maybe its 50 Cent's delivery, maybe its the awkward beat changes on Eminem punchlines. Whatever it is, the song does not MOVE me, its vibe's kinda... meh
