Canibus - His career was at it's peak in 1998, Can-I-Bus was certified gold. Then he caught beef with Eminem and his career began to decline. I don't even think his albums after Can-I-Bus went wood.
Everlast - He was successful with House of Pain, ventured solo, had some success and caught beef with Eminem. His career definitely declined, although he was still able to sell some records, it wasn't nearly as much as he was selling prior to the beef. I think his 2004 album did like 120,000.
Limp Bizkit - This beef didn't escalate into anything big, but Limp Bizkit did begin falling from the face of the earth after it, especially considering they were the best selling rock band at the time. It eventually led to a hiatus, them trying to come back and flopping.
Insane Clown Posse - Funny enough, I think ICP have remained the most successful after their beef with Eminem. However, one should note that their 1999 album actually did go platinum and they were everywhere....from Woodstock to WWF wrestling, after their beef with Eminem, their popularity began to decline as did their record sales. But....they have consistently been able to sell records and have albums chart high on billboard since their beef with Eminem, which I have to admit is pretty impressive.
Ja Rule - We can't give all this credit to Eminem, as 50 Cent helped destroy Ja Rule and Murder Inc. in general...but the beef was definitely heated up when Eminem got involved. Ja Rule was at the top, and he fell off the face of the map....entirely...he still puts out records....but no one cares. I saw a CD of his at Best Buy on sale once for $2.50.
Benzino - His career was practically non-existent, but he did hold a position of power at the Source. A position he eventually lost after beefing with Eminem.
EDIT: Did I forget anyone?
Boy bands were trashed & their whole genre was gone, pop divas though survived & kept going even though they caught some heat here & there.
I think Cage was the first rapper to really catch heat from EM & the first one to disappear after that.
Canibus was done by LL first, even though he had that lethal first diss, LL knocked him out career wise. EM only hurt his legacy but it was a great deal indeed.
Everlast was a goner already but he actually came hard at EM, so EM murdering him counts big time.
ICP were trashed, they were less than mediocre commercially after the beef.
Limp Bizkit were trashed & thrown away from the commercial world.
Benzino was molested really bad but he didn't have a career to lose so he lost everything else.
Ja was the hardest case, he had a huge career & probably 20-30 million net worth, but after 50 & EM did him he lost everything in no time... no career/future in the music business whatsoever & he's broke as fuck nowadays.
Nelly suffered the most though, one of the hottest rappers on the radio & on the charts at the time was thrown out without even Em really going at him.
J.D. was trashed really bad & that was on Dre's behalf. It was really ugly.
Surprisingly Mariah's career went in the toilet too, esp. after her single picked up big time. But after ''The Warning'' by the time her album dropped she was gone.
There's some more but they don't really deserve to be mentioned.
