Jay-z was already one of the best rappers in the late 90's and everybody talked about him has a goat tbh

There were many rappers in the 90s that were better than Jay Z. I don't care if you don't believe me but Jay wasn't that big in the 90s I mean Pac was dissin the fuck out of Jay and he stayed quiet. Puffy was bigger than Jay and had more buzz than Jay.

yeah there were better rappers but most of these rappers didn't make a better album than Reasonable Doubt. A lot of rappers had more buzz than Nas and most of these rappers didn't make a better album than Illmatic.

Reasonable doubt was a great album I'm not doubting that, I would call it a classic.

yeah and a great technical rapper who doesn't release good albums isn't interesting at all imo, that's why I think that jay-z was one of the greatest rappers back in the days but he isn't consistent at all

I would call an artist who releases great hip hop albums - songs, a great rapper and I would call an artist who sells a lot of albums a successful rapper lol but jay used to be a great and succesful rapper I guess.

Lance5 I don`t agree with you on that "beats haven`t aged well om TMMLP". I like those beats better than most of beats you hear today.
