I dont know, I like both songs very much. But i Dont like how he pronounces "thug" in Soldier, so I chose The Way I Am lol

It was an unsuccessful single compared to his hits though.

Anything Eminem does is technically mainstream because so many people love his work. This song was not written to be popular or to get spins. The fact that it became popular is testament to how good it is. It's not really mainstream though, since it's 13 years old.
