They got together, collaberated on songs and made a entire album. That was the best they could do.

Just because it was a mediocre album (OMG U MORON ROYCE AN EM FIRE U STOOPID) doesn't mean you can say it was a throw away and it isn't comparable.

It is comparable and Nas and damien did their collab better.

Oh, shut the fuck up you cunt scab :facepalm It's like...you open a thread debating over the two but as soon as someone defends the one YOU aren't supporting, you get like this. You're such a little fucking pussy it's vomit inducing.

Who is making excuses? Dumb fuck, it's well known fact that Hell: The Sequel was them fucking around - how many times did they have to say that? And you're wrong, it's not an "entire album", it's an EP. Holy Hell, I can hear your mother being disgraced from here.

No, it's not comparable. The only comparable attribute the two projects have are the fact that they're collaborative. Nas and Damien sat the fuck down, grinded and pumped out a conceptually driven album - Em and Royce 100% did the exact opposite, fuckwad.

And I already said that Distant Relatives was better for those exact reason too :facepalm2 You're such a miserable cunt.

I'm sure when they went in their they were like hey lets make some throw away tracks, you know, just dick around and make songs that wouldn't be good enough for an album(throw away tracks) and release it on purpose. And when I said entire album I meant their full effort, not the length of a album. If they had made two songs for it, that would have been the "entire thing" Yep, "just fucking around" they probably freestled the entire thing will drunk, just dicking around you know.

I'm done responding to you though. You lack the ability to have a conversation without personally attacking someone with insults and profanity. I'm sure anyone on this board who is best friends forever with you would see that your logic in what you said was very ignorant. I'm amazed you're a mod the way to talk to people and the spam and over all worthless posts you make. I'm a little surprised you haven't been banned. Not that I'm pulling for that, it's just surprising.

imo, tmmlp is a top 10/15 hip hop album but illmatic is easily #1, flawless from the beginning to the end

nas best albums > Em best albums
Em worst albums > Nas worst albums

Nas worst albums are really really bad, Encore is at least enjoyable.
As for The Marshall Mathers LP, I think it's a masterpiece but the album hasn't aged well at all for me, I will never rank it above Illmatic, ready to die, reasonable doubt or The Chronic :y:

but To each his own I guess..

I listen to IWW at least twice a week but Nas had better flow, lyrics, production and so much more on Illmatic tbh

What. Firstly, how is Encore enjoyable? Some of the songs are enjoyable, but the rest is absolute TRASH. I'm not even sure if I can classify My First Single as an actual SONG.

And I don't understand the fuss around The Chronic. All of Dre's albums have been him rapping something written for him. If the artist doesn't even write his own shit on his own ALBUM, how can he make a classic rap album? Yeah, cool beats, but Dre has a song on The Chronic called "Deeez Nuuuts". Yeah, classic material. GOAT shit :y:

It doesn't change the final result bro, an album is an album.

Hell yeah it does. When you don't write your own shit, I don't classify you as a rapper at all, I classify you as a performer. A singer. Whatever.

I won't deny that The Chronic changed the whole rap sound forever (and for the better) but how the HELL has THAT aged well and MMLP hasn't?

I'll just go by who has more tracks on my iTunes playlist. :coffee: That's Eminem.
However......Nas's "Undying Love" (random example) pretty much shits, from a huge height, on whatever Eminem came out with after Relapse.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.
