Insane is awful, I'll say that. It's like if Eminem wrote a rap back in 2001 that is making fun of how people thought he rapped back then.

Basically the song should have been released in his prime to add salt to the wounds and get critics even madder than they were. Agree!

Oh my god, I feel so bad, honestly. You like Recovery more than Relapse, it's your choice. Those "since Recovery fans" or "before recovery fans" are so blurred things. We like the same artist and we ready to insult each other just because we have different tastes in his discography. Thats so stupid. Lets stop it, finally.

Cold Wind Blows > 3AM (close call)
Talking 2 Myself > My Mom (suck it, hipsters)
On Fire = Insane (hard to judge tbh)
Bagpipes From Baghdad > Wont Back Down (easily)
Hello > White Trash Party (easily)
Going Through Changes > Same Song and Dance (easily)
Not Afraid > We Made You (easily)
Seduction > Medicine Ball (close call)
Stay Wide Awake = Spacebound (both different but good)
Cinderella Man > Old Times Sake (easily)
25 To Life > Must Be The Ganja (only because MBTG is bad)
Deja Vu > So Bad (this is not even close lol)
Beautiful > Almost Famous (close call)
Love the Way You Lie > Crack A Bottle
You're Never Over > Underground

3 A.M. vs Cold Wind blows = Cold Wind Blows
My Mom vs Talkin' 2myself = Talkin' 2 Myself (The hate Talkin' 2 Myself receives on here is ridiculous)
On fire vs Insane = Insane (The praise On Fire receives on this forum is ridiculous)
Bagpipes from Baghdad vs Won't Back Down = Bagpipes from Baghdad (Neither are that good)
Hello vs W.T.P. = Hello (Neither are that good)
Same Song & Dance vs Going Through Changes = Going Through Changes
We Made You vs Not Afraid = Not Afraid (Easily)
Seduction vs Medicine Ball = Seduction (Easily)
Stay Wide Awake vs Spacebound = Stay Wide Awake
Old Time's Sake vs Cinderella Man = Cinderella Man
Must be the Ganja vs 25 to Life = 25 to Life
Deja Vu vs So Bad = Deja Vu
Beautiful vs Almost Famous = Almost Famous
Crack a Bottle vs Love the way you Lie = Love the way you Lie
Underground vs You're Never Over = Underground

9 Recovery
6 Relapse

And two of the 6 Relapse won were matchups of the weakest songs on both albums.

Recovery has better individual songs.

I feel like I'm the only one on this site who can't stand Almost Famous. The horrible hook, intro, crashy production and screaming just makes it unlistenable for me... don't know how so many people think it's on of the best tracks on Recovery...

I felt like the hook was haunting and quite good actually. There's nothing wrong with the intro. The production fits perfectly with the screaming, which is also actually fitting for this track because it's just Em going absolute batshit insane on a microphone.

The same way people thought On Fire was better than like 85% of Recovery in that elimination game thread. It's ridiculous. Somehow little ideas catchy on on here and then from there on out it's just accepted fact.

But I actually really like Almost Famous, so can't help ya there bro.

The fuck's wrong with On Fire? That shit is fucking awesome. He's growling more than yelling, which actually sounds a lot more menacing. His rhyming is perfect, imagery is dark and kind of humorous (the line about the gizzards) and he even makes fun of himself. So yeah, awesome.
