I'm pretty sure D12 World was a result of too much fun with the members, and 50 Cent influence. It seemed like tracks like Git Up were some of the tracks made because of drug influence, which was a very off-and-on thing during the recording in the midst, a little more off than on. But the 50 Cent influence was more of a phase that got caught up in, having nothing to do with drugs until he eventually turned it into an on thing, rather than off and on. It seemed like he never cared much about the album. Encore seemed to be something special to him, he said once that he wanted it to be the sequel to The Eminem Show until he ended up having to scrap tracks very near the end of recording.

every time I think of this era I think of when there was a top videos or takeover or something on MTV or BET and Em was on there with the rest of Shady records at one point or another and he could barely talk and he was wearing SO MANY chains, like Busta Rhymes chains and 50's chains, and his chains and all this shit. I mean I think it was SUPPOSED to be ridiculous and I guess funny but because the dude couldn't even really form a good sentence it just made everything look even more sad.
