Agree with the review, except for Rap God, I actually do like that song.

The line "in mid OC----TOBER" in Brainless is fucking terrible...perfect example of why the sentence splitting needs to stop, pronto.

"Below average review" lol it's actually a decent review that doesn't outweigh the pros and make Em seem like a god.

Good Review, I respect it but honestly for me i give this album 9.5/10 and you are right when you said it is probably the best Eminem album we will get post- TES.

The 3rd verse of The Monster has some 4-syllable rhymes playing off/setting up "Rumpelstiltskin" and some A-B-A-B work, but the first two verses were unimpressive. He did have "cake and eat it too/made me a balloon/inflated when I blew," but it's buried in emphasized 2-syllable stuff.

I do still like it much better than Not Afraid, so that's the silver lining.

I give this album an 8/10.

Only reason it's not higher is because of some of the weaker tracks like Survival and The Monster. His classics were devoid of weak songs like these. And because the sentence splitting does get a little bit much here and there. Still, it doesn't take anything from the album, no one is fucking with Em lyrically.
