He could have attacked Gaga, Drake, Kanye the same way he attacked on MMLP. It would have worked and we'd be shocked. I know he ca do it, but he has no desire.

I kinda agree with this.

i kind of agree a little bit, too

I just wish he'd go back to not fucking with his words so much. Gets a tad bit annoying.

Y'all hate on Hopsinshadie but he is just voicing a legit opinion.. I co-sign as the other two have.

He isn't the same Em he once was.. He is still releasing good music though so I can't complain. MMLP2 is about as good as some whole careers.. not that that says much but he cant compare to himself.

TES set the bar too high.. his flow was impossibly perfect.. TBH TES is my favorite music album, period.. His flow and his production on top of the lyrics and pure genuine emotion fueling his delivery.. GAWD DAMN I GET HARD JUST THINKING ABOUT TES

Yep.. that over/under annunciation shit is getting on my nerves at this point.. but it's his music so whatever.. Like dude we get it.. you showed off how talented of a word-smith you are in Relapse.. just focus on good music now.

While I do like MMLP2, I also agree with your opinion of him "softening" up and not attacking. However, if it means anything to you, three of the bonus tracks are raw as fuck. I dunno why he didn't swap them out. Put "Survival" on the bonus like he did with "Forever", not 5 gems that can easily be better than 90% of the main album.

Anyways, the only thing bugging a little about his flows now days are the word splitting with each new bar, like the sentence splitting is a tad much at some times, but on MMLP2 it doesn't take anything away or ruin the songs whatsoever.

His flow on the first 3/4 of "Bad Guy" isn't that good actually compared to the rest of the album.

I have not heard the bonus cd and won't until the deluxe comes in the mail. I wonder how long it takes to get here. I'm upset with Evil Twin. He refrained himself. If he would grow some balls, he could top MMLP. I'm not kidding. His word play is even more insane sometimes and he's doing things he's never been able to do, but he holds back. I guess he's self conscious. He doesn't want unnecessary controversy because it would be a burden to deal with. But trust me, if he was pissed off enough, he could rip apart Gaga and Bieber and piss off the world 10 times as hard. People may be used to him, but people are also more sensitive these days. In Evil Twin, you could just hear him wanting to let loose.

Em gives a fuck. He had nothing to lose in SSLP and MMLP. Now he does have something to lose and that's why he can't attack people more directly.

His flow on the first 3/4 of Bad Guy ruined the song. The lyrics were great, but instead of rapping like a person like he did in stan, he went all over the place and made it less like someone else's character and more like him tryna flex his rap muscles, which wasn't the goal of the song.

the last quarter is fucking beautiful though.....
