Look at something like Syllables...a song with a great concept, yet it wasn't actually good.

Encore is like that, he had the concept and the theme but he didn't have the wit he had in his previous efforts. I'm not shitting on Encore or anything, I think it could've ended up being a pretty damn good album because the theme is actually unique, but the execution is just so lackluster and lazy.
