December 18 Em and Lil wayne are set to perform no love on Saturday Night Live. December 22 is the rumored date for the re release of recovery with 7 new tracks. And some time early january a new 12 song EP on the way.

Definitely won't happen!
It's less than a month till the re-release you're talking about, they should've started advertizing it at least a month ago. I guess they wanna sell so it doesn't make sense for them to keep it as secret, does it?
What makes it more ridicilous is not just they wouldn't have advertized it on time, but then hurt its sales by releasing another EP like 2-3 weeks after it.
Too little time for a re-relase on that date, and definitely too soon for another album afterwards. This will never happen because it's amateur all over the place.

It definitely would not hurt the sales...Recovery, itself, is successful enough. Time will tell if there is really a re release, I'm gonna remain optimistic and assume that there will be one

honestly i dont think this will happen. is this because of the whole Relapse, Relapse:Refill thing? Because if so, you must remember that Refill was only released because Em scrapped the idea of a Relapse 2 album, but didn't want to leave all the fans waiting so long, so he released what he probably considered his best work, and started fresh on Recovery. There was never any plan for a Recovery 2, so there won't be a Refill in my opinion.

LOL EM did two EP's actually before he got signed, and that's the case with unsigned artists. Then Dre re worked the EP you mentioned and made it LP, speaking of EM DON'T do EP's anymore.
I didn't say the label was gonna be hurt, I said the sales of two albums would be hurt if they released them to short one after another. Which is like totally normal, I don't get how you don't undersand it.
Don't even expect that scenario, it's not gonna happen. I promise you.

Yes, I understand this. I was fucking with you. I know what you're saying, but I mean...it won't hurt all that much if they did that. Aftermath is trying to get back in the game, can't you tell? They're trying to get as much hype as they can. With Detox coming and all...I don't think it's sales they're worried about. It would not hurt Eminem one bit to re-release Recovery AND do a Bad Meets Evil EP not far from each other. Royce's group is getting signed to Shady, Em is TRYING to rebuild Shady too, with some hype for Royce, which will in turn build up hype for Slaughterhouse. Plus, if Dre is featured on the re-release of Recovery, that will build hype for Detox and draw in Em fans, new and old.

Surely you understand that? I could be completely wrong, but I was trying to look at it from a business perspective
