People need to let Old Em go... the man lost his best friend, his wife, he almost died, he had to learn how to rap again, etc.

If you're going to expect 1999-2004 Eminem EVERY SINGLE TIME he puts an album out you're going to get disappointed every time.

Tell me a single artists that sounds the same 15 years after his debut. Hell, Kanye released an album in 2013 that's soooooooooo fucking worse than his debut in terms of lyricism, BUT he maintained his integrity and he does what he wants. And Yeezus production is interesting.

Eminem evolved lyrically, he is as sharp as he can get right now. If you don't like his beat choices, ok. But you have to give props to him for experimenting new flows, new cadences, etc. He is trying to keep his art interesting, and in my opinion he succeeded.

i dont want to hear him jam 2524 words in one line...i want him to flow like he used to...and why cant we expect that from him when he did give us that flow on deja vu/GTC/brainless..etc

I think part of the reason Stronger Than I Was was so overated initially is because it was different & not him rapping way too fast. Fine Line flow is the best on the album. Eminem is trying to hard at times to show off his rap skills.

Bane is horrible. I don't even know how they could tell themselves 'woah what a dope song lets put it on the album'. The beat is disgusting and the chorus is embarassing. Worst song on the album.

You clearly haven't listened to his albums. Not a big Yeezus fan myself, but his other albums are all great at least.

And I agree that Eminem will never be how he was, but that's not my point. What I don't get is

Why does he make Deja Vu, but on the same album songs like 3AM and Underground?
Why does he make GTC, but on the same album songs like On Fire?
Same goes for MMLP2, it has Bad Guy, Groundhog Day... but also Stronger Than I Was and Survival..

My point is, on each album he shows that he is still capable of making great/classic songs, but he only does it on a few songs (or parts of a song). There are plenty of newer songs I love, I mentioned a few, but also songs like Space Bound, Airplanes, I Need A Doctor, Brainless and more, and now Fine Line/ShadyXV. So it's not hating at all.

I don't mind his new flow. You can tell by his songs that he's still trying new things out. I love the flow he has on Vegas.

He should go for that Vegas style on his next album
