The point people are making is that just because you don't like it, does not make it a flop.

If you think its achievements in the charts are a flop then it means we have different ideas of what makes a song a flop. In which case, there's no point arguing anymore.

Maybe so, but even if that's absolutely true but...

Calling it a flop is almost absolute and it's not objectively definable as in... there's no definitive point when something IS a hit or ISN'T a hit. I mean, there's charts but when it's a success or not is debatable...

BUT, a song debuting at #5 cannot be called a flop in serious discussion. It may of dropped some but it's still been embraced to a degree which is a relative success.

So, you can call it shit or you hate it but, it's not a flop.
