@Blu, about the "room full of papers" thing, I think in his book he said he had a bag so full of papers, someone thought he was carrying rocks around.

Of course he is writing but there may be many recycled lines that we are viewing as terrible now.

I highly doubt he does much of that. That could have saved Encore...lyrically speaking.

But there are some good ideas for lines in Encore that pilled-up Em did not execute at all.

But there's no way the corny punchlines he uses these days are recycled. These are in direct relation to having listened to Wayne/Kanye/Drake and convincing himself they're dope.

Of course he fucking recycles. In Lighters when he does that corny switchblade line (switchblade/haters ribcage) he recycled that also, it was on a paper from the book

If anything, the fact that the "son of a bitch" punch line appeared in his early MMLP sheets is proof that he thought about using punch lines like that in the past, and decided not to. I'd like to think he decided not to use them because he thought they sucked/were lame...not that the SOB punch line sucks, I've just heard it too many times before to like it.

Trying to figure out what Em was going for with each of these lines is driving me crazy. Fuck, I bet he has a a whole room full of these papers just lying everywhere.

Also the way he writes is insane. It looks like it was written by several people. Sometimes he has 2 different ways to write an e in the same word. The writing sometimes is tilted to the left , sometimes to the right...an analyst would go crazy.

Maybe he was in a car, standing somewhere, waiting for a plane or stuff like this, so that's why it isn't written tadily and it's all such a mess.

LOL yeah, and he uses two different ways to write A; he'll use lower case in the beginning of words sometimes and switch to capitals in the middle. Very odd.

Yeah, he explained in that interview with Anderson Cooper that when a rhyme pops in his head he just jots it down on whatever.

I never saw that as an intentional pun on 'bitch.' Could be wrong. Wouldn't be a bad pun if it was. It works both ways, as puns should.

I always saw it as a great use of the literal meaning of 'son of a bitch'. And yeah, it's a good pun.

I don't see the problem with the Mother's a bitch line though.
