Don't get me wrong, I like Almost Famous. I like most the the lines, and the beat, but the shouting lets me down. I just think it's AF is madly overrated in here , and that some songs on Recovery are better.

Wow, Mockingbird and LTS got so much hate here ... These two songs (among a few others) save the album from being complete trash imo.

I do agree with the OP anyway. Em's verse on Spend Some Time is awesome.

LTS I can see why you'd prefer, I disagree, but with Mockingbird? It sounded like he was going to fall asleep while rapping, and the chorus and bridge are both just godawful. Juxtapose that with little to no rhyming, along with some of the worst rhyming of his life (teynajizz/reyzan/destinieis), no flow at all, and an all around boring premise and idea. Sure, Recovery was forced, but isn't that better than boring half-asleep drugged up monotone Eminem rambling about how he couldn't afford birthday presents in 1997.

Mockingbird only beats Won't Back Down, W.T.P, and LTWYL.

I completely disagree. I would take Like Toy Soldiers and Mockingbird over 80% of Recovery. What is it that you don't like about them? Mockingbird is just another good Em song, but LTS I would call a really good song.

I don't like deep and serious, really. Just because it's meaningful doesn't make it good lol. Personally, for me, I like when Eminem is going hard on his "fuck everybody" shit. I like rhymes > content. And Eminem is boring, lazy, and drugged the fuck out on those songs. He sluggishly describes beefs and his love for his daughters. Going Through Changes does a MUCH better job of painting that picture than any of those two songs. Fuck Mockingturd and Like Gay Soldiers. I especially dislike Like Toy Soldiers, there was on point where I did enjoy Mockingbird but I have NEVER EVER enjoyed Like Toy Soldiers lol. At all. It's terrible. I hate the hook more than anything, it's horrendous. Whole song sucks.

I just have a very soft spot for Relapse I suppose. I love the album as much as Em does. I think you have to be a drug addict or had to have been a drug addict in order to really understand what Relapse means as a whole concept and album.

I believe people who don't like Relapse (not to you Aone) don't really understand the man who made it to begin with.
