The public reaction made him change his mind and Proof wasn't there to see him through it, hence Recovery

He said he had fun making it, but I don't think he loves it. The man wouldn't go that far if he actually did.

Yeah. That's true

Yeah I'd say Eminem may regret making Relapse to be honest

He probably realizes it's not the type of music he should be making in the twilight of his career

I think he had FUN with Relapse and that influenced BME some which influenced MMLP2. Sorta.

And yes the beats on relapse on probably my favorite!

Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again

I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line

It's debatable that Relapse has some of the best production of his career, no doubt.

It really wasn't his twilight. He was like 37? And it was EMINEM's comeback. So people didn;t know what to expect. SO he made the most just shock rap album of his probably and then he had a few serious songs o there. It also had a lot about his addiciton (hince relapse).

Then why the hell wouldn't he have just rapped that in the original -.-

I think he probably became less enchanted with his body of work from that period as time went on

When it comes down to being a fan of Eminems music, you have to understand what his music represents. Here's how I feel about each album and how they are differently unique:

Infinite- This was Eminem showing his technical ability, you can tell he's young and impressionable by the likes of Big Daddy Kane and such.

SSLP- Enter the alter-ego, this is the voice inside of us all that tells us to be bad.

MMLP- This is Em showing us he's a regular Joe Shmo that has a bit of a creative side, but hes still a rude average guy that is sick of the attention he gets from rap.

8-Mile- Em just trying to showcase a somewhat likeness of his story about being an underdog.

TES- This is Em proving he doesn't need the shock value, he's made it and rap music is his stage.

Encore- He gave it all by this point. He ran out of steam. "Until the fire inside dies, and expires at 30", as he said on hos previous album. He had no reason to make this album but he did anyways. It gets a lot of hate for its content, but you cant deny the message this album possesses.

The Re Up- Just Em trying to promote his Shady roster talent.

Relapse- He conquered rap, and then he lost his best friend. He was in a very dark place. This album is a sinister masterpiece, its essentially a nightmare.

Recovery- We all go through shit, and we eventually get out of it. This is Em flexing his ability again and showing he's not afraid to change his sound up to be easier on the ears now that hes matured and picked up the pieces of his life.

MMLP2- This is essentially his whole career coming full circle. Hes just trying to balance everything hes ever done negatively with this... interesting work.
