Okay, what annoys me about him is...

- Firstly, his topical range of late. Now, in reality he touches upon a plethora of ideas and topics throughout every album in various ways. But in terms of things he commits himself to in songs, he's pretty frustratingly limited lately.

I mean, this criticism rings even louder with almost every other rapper. But given Em's immense lyrical skill and abilities, it just feels like such a waste for him to not be creating at a higher level. Like, why has he not even attempted to out-do "Stan". I mean if you go back to SSLP, the creativity inherent is inspiring. Even little concepts like "Role Model"... I wish he'd dig deeper to do things like this again.

- Secondly, of late - his bullshit modesty lmao. There's nothing ignoble about being modest, in moderation but it's such an obvious reaction route and I also feel he's often just saying everyone is dope to not stirr shit. Which, you know... Is fine I suppose but he's almost selling out his opinion for the sake of offending people (other rappers) which is pretty lame considering what he stands for as an artist. Unless of course he really does just think they're all dope, in which case... Okay, I guess.

- Thirdly, again, of late - His live performances. Now, I'm not just talking about the fact he looks a bit awkward, what I'm talking about is the lazy nature of their effect. I don't mean he's lazy in his actual performing of the songs but I mean the lack of inspiration or creativity in creating iconic, visual performances. I mean when you look at the amount of effort Kanye West puts in now. He really goes all out to create an amazing performance to historically coincide with the song.

And, Em used to do this. When you think of his iconic rising from the ground with dungarees, a chainsaw and a hockey / jason mask. So atmospheric n brilliant. He really embodied an artist back then. I know he hasn't really done any big solo shows at all again so maybe we just haven't had a chance to see what he would do now. He has only done awards shows etc. I suppose but still... Feels like he's just concerned about spitting well as opposed to creating a visual experience too.

Are you telling me a show a week is "hard on the body"? Plus if he is worried that he will see drugs and might relapse, than ban your staff from using them, their working for you afterall.

He has fans all over the world willing to spend 100s or dollars to see him and he should give back something to them.
