Im not sure if hes just attacking raps different from the way he used to, or if his voice has changed. Because in Recovery it sounds like hes attacking every single song the exact same way, that or his voice has gotten much deeper. Either way I don't like it.


When Recovery first came out I loved it. Then I dusted off the old albums and realized that my love for Recovery was just me wanting new material.

lip syncing. or really loud backing tracks, or whatever you wanna call it.

don't get me wrong, i realize the man is incredible live and sounds like the recordings when he raps. this is only a once-in-a-while-usually-for-tv thing. and he's always actually rapping when they do it, but with his mic off/really low. but it still drives me crazy.

and also the grammy's this year. when i saw the performance i was so excited and impressed. but after i watched it again, and then listened to the actual recordings of love the way you like pt. 2 and i need a doctor, i'm almost positive most of eminem's part in the performance was to a recorded track. but i wanna be wrong on that one.

beyond that though, not much. i'm all for the woman-degrading (and i'm a girl). i don't really mind the yelling most of the time.

oh, another thing, any songs from encore on a live setlist ever. can't stand the album, at all, any of it.
