I dont want to state the obvious, but everyone knows that Eminem is one of the best in the game, if not the best. His lyrical ability is incredible, just look at tracks on Relapse (and some say thats lyrically up there with his earlier albums).
Eminem is better at story telling, his concepts are better. Just look at songs like 25 to Life, The Reunion, Same song and Dance etc.
I could go on, but i dont see why this is really important to you? Whats it even matter? And yes i know why i like Eminem, i was probably listening to him before you was able to walk.
You enter a discussion and when you're asked to back up your statements, then "it's not a trial"! People debate every single hour, it's what forums are for. Not just "NEW EMINEM TRACK/ALBUM/LEAK".
You see that's where you're going wrong. Saying "it's obvious, everyone knows." It's not and everyone doesn't, that's why topics like this were created in the first place!
So his concepts are better and you give "25 To Life" & "The Reunion". One's a concept that's been done to death by tones of rapper and I give original credit to Common for making "I Used to Love H.E.R." the latter, though good storytelling, is still telling a rather boring and uncreative story to begin with. What's so surprising about Eminem's poor relationship with women? "Stan" was creative, " The Reunion" was not.
Why is it important to me? It's not. I'm just trying to have a decent late-night discussion but you seem to be hostile for whatever reason. Good for you for being older than me, want a prize now?
