Pretty much every song I didn't like grew on me. Love game, stiw and baby. Desperation and the singles besides rap god are the only songs I don't listen to.

Rarely do I left something ruin a song for me, but I realllly don't like the hook on legacy. It's just so boring and bland to me.

A shame because his verses are great.

I think the final product doesn't sound "Legacy"-ish. It's just a slower moment on the album that I don't fuck with too much. But when I do listen to it I end up enjoying it. It's a dope song overall but I'd give it like an 8/10 myself. Though I can see why people love it so much. Just not me.

Let's also keep in mind that Stan, for me, isn't all that great either. Though I can recognize and see its greatness. But that's not the Eminem I prefer.

It was "Legacy" in a different way. Rather than a "my greatness" kind of thing, it was inspirational. It's telling kids that feel like he did that shit can get better in life. The point is, "please have faith in my words (that you can get through it), because this is my legacy (I am living proof that you can rise above it)."

His legacy was built on the truth of the message in the song. It's not just some cliche that "it'll all work out". He says believe me, it's possible because it's how I became who I am. I love it for that reason.

I guess looking at it from that way then the name does make sense. It just wasn't what I was expecting. But then again, were any of us expecting what we got on MMLP2?
