Nothing can make up for that hook/beat

And tbh, Ridaz an Session One should have replaced some of the tracks on Recovery. Cinderella Man and WTP should've been bonus. Won't Back Down should not exist.

Why exactly does the hook/chorus of Almost Famous sound so freaking scary/creepy? I've thought this ever since my first listen of the song.

Just due to the way that woman sings... she over-pronounces words and there's a slight echo to her voice, which all just adds up to making it sound somewhat sinister... as to WHY that sounds sinister... I guess just due to the context and atmosphere you would usually associate with that kind of voice.

I would take out WBD and T2M. I love WTP.

Examples:
2. Talkin’ 2 Myself Feat. Kobe
6. Going Through Changes
10. Space Bound
11. Cinderella Man
12. 25 to Life
14. Almost Famous
15. Love the Way You Lie Feat. Rihanna
Trimss wrote:Yeah, it's also kinda sad that he only co-produced two tracks on it, WTP and Not Afraid (which is his first single.)
That means he just got the beats, wrote to them and rapped his vocals on em. Not sure if he even mixed during the Recovery process. Relapse was such a better effort, he was much more focused and involved on it. Smh.

When I then try to think back and rate it, it always feels murky and confusing, as if it was an average experience; and I think that's due to the production only...
Because every time I listen to it, I rap every single word and enjoy the fuck out of it.
Also, there seems to be more continuity in style the more time goes on, if you take like... "25 to Life" and "Almost Famous" for example - that kind of mixture of abrasive and harsh production, with the light, breezy choruses... that contrast seems to feel pretty present throughout the album.
