Honest to GOD I personally think people who do drugs, and are a little bit older (like in their 20s or older) enjoy relapse more. No science behind it, I just personally think that's the way it is.

So, I should go do drugs to enjoy Relapse more? Fuck that album if that's true.

In that case, Yeezus > Relapse because it doesn't have a CAB/Beautiful/Underground.

Yeezus is very cohesive, oh but now there will be plenty of things more important than cohesion.

Stop this bullshit about CAB, Beatuiful and Undeground. This 3 songs dont mean shit when it comes to overall album quality. What the fuck is wrong with you? It's like comparing movies scene by scene.

Lol you're a fucking idiot.

You think Yeezus is cohesive? I don't mean to start an argument or anything, but Guilt Trip, BOTL and Bound 2 sound like works from his previous albums. I don't think the album is cohesive as a whole.

hahahahah that had me crackin up. I didn't mean go do drugs to like the album more. I just been listenin to em since SSLP came out, and I was like 10 or 11 and had to have my older friend go buy it for me. When i hit a certain age (cuz of where i live) drugs became a bigger part of life and since then shady + drugs = new entertainment. Relapse just had SICK bass, beats, and the lyrics are beyond what ANYONE could've expected. So everyone I know that enjoys relapse, I just realized they all smoke or do some other shyt. Just an observation from my standpoint, has nothing to do with anyone on here.
Music Box
Relapse.

Cuz I ain't crazy I say shit that's crazy to crazy people to make em believe I'm crazy so they can relate to me and maybe believe in shady so they can be evil baby I LIKE THAT.

Lol, lets run the discussion without insults. We are all intelligent people here, aren't we?

3 bad chapters cant ruin the good book. 3 bad scenes cant ruin the good film. 3 bad songs cant ruin the good album. I guess Drips, Say What You Say, When The Music Stops didnt ruin The Eminem Show for you, even though they arent that bad, but considered by a lot of people as forgettable filler-songs.
Relapse is a good album, isn't it? Relapse is a good album. Dont rank it by "track-by-track" system, try to look at it as on the one indivisible piece of art. Forget about CAB, Beautiful, Undeground - they dont exist. Forget about SWA, SS&D, Deja Vu, Insane - they dont exist. There is only "Relapse" and what's going on inside of it - The Creepy Thoughts Show, totally fucked up mind of Eminem, all the shit that was in his head and we are welcomed to have a trip through all of this. The one indivisible piece of art, which was planned in a specific way from start to finish.

And what about Recovery? Yeah, it has some kind of a concept: I gave up doing drugs, My life was so hard for the last couple of years, Im Crazy, Im Strong enough to deal with all the shit in my life. But can you see Recovery as you can see Relapse? No. Recovery is: Song about this, song about that, song about party, song about girl. In other words, compilation of songs about problems and about some other stuff.

Am I allowed to think that perfectly planned and well thought-out album is better than compilation of songs about this and about that? Am I allowed to consider the fact of being perfectly planned and well thought-out album as a main reason to say that Relapse is easily better album than Recovery?

Now you can remember about CAB, Underground and Beautiful and re-read my message.

Lol @ you thinking one fifth of Relapse is equal to 3 scenes in a movie.

Do you seriously disagree with the notion that a portion of something, could potentially bring down the entire thing in quality?

the average songs on tes bring the album down. It's still a great album because the majority of it is great, but imagine TES without drips, say what you say, and when the music stops. Shorter, but automatically elevates the overall quality.

Same with GKMC, take of real and compton and you have a 9/10 album.

Same with All Of The Lights and Lost In The World. MBDTF would have been a 10/10 without those two ass songs tbh. But you'll probably disagree with me lol
