Well... MMLP was recorded in a few weeks on a trip and when Em was on a creative stream of conciousness.

SSLP, MMLP, Devil's Night, TES all in 4 years. If Em find himself on another of those creative binges he could perfectly release another album in 2015.

I remember hearing that Eminem recorded like 2 songs a week (or was it a day?) during the mmlp2 sessions - i don't think he really needs that much time to craft an album. It probably has to do with the timing really and what's financially optimal for the label and brand. Like you said, four albums (3 which are undeniable classics) in 4 years. Even now, from 2009 to 2013 he dropped 4 projects (including the bad meets evil shit). Also, we do not know when he actually finished mmlp2...What if he finished the album in March of 2013? That would have given him multiple months to write and record another album, which is especially possible if he is on sort of creative binge which seems like it if we go back and look at the astounding content of mmlp2. I mean, I think the only way a 41 year old white rapper could release something as good as mmlp2 this late in his career only translates to a creative binge.

My hopes are up for a new album dropping within the next 6-8 months.

How does ShadyXV mean a new album though? And if there was an album coming less than a year we would of been told it would be out "soon" already... Plus if this WAS a single for a new album, id be dissapointed. After waiting 3 years for MMLP 2, I no longer have a passion for music which really fucking sucks, I just hope Guts Over Fear will actually make me feel something. MMLP 2 lacked emotion for me. Sounded way too forced and you could tell he was having too much fun making it. I want the dark, passionate, hateful, flowing Eminem back Encore flow is goat flow

encore flow is not goat flow...come on dog. And mmlp2 sounded natural as fuck for the vast majority. Recovery sounded forced at times. Your post reminds me of a certain member on here

encore might preserve pillinem's sslp mmlp tes continuum (if not gracefully so) but mmlp2 and to a slightly lesser degree hts and recovery sounds more like the eminem I fell in love with in 1999 than encore or even relapse ever has or will
