I thought the flow was horrendous, the pause, speed up again flow was unlistenable to me
Well whether it sounded horrendous is subjective (I feel like I'm turning into EmBase

The way he says "I'm alive again" slowly, and as the beat builds he starts speeding up and the subject matter goes from "I'm revived..." to "You can never break my stride!", the flow is like an illustration of the lyrics. It's momentum. I like it.
However, the thing I hate about this type of flow is how unsuited it is for end rhymes/multis, which is why it isn't nearly as perfected as his previous work. It's hard to tell that "smell blood" was supposed to rhyme with "help up", or that "rocfella" was even used in a sentence on first listen.
I wasn't judging the Chorus or even Royce's part, only Eminem's part.
I did the same thing in my review since I didn't think royce particularly stood out in this record. Even after all these years, we're still only paying attention to Eminem.
Still though, that chorus sucks. Do you agree?

The delivery was great the whole time
This is primarily what I don't get. His voice is just so similar to the rest of the record here, the only difference being that it's slightly deeper. I don't see why you like the delivery here so much when everything else he's done in the last two years is quote on quote "awful".
Cause I break my back to give you my art, you steal my thoughts
It’s like driving a spike through my heart
You might think it’s not that big of a deal to steal from me
But music is all I got
Aside from my daughters, not trying to sound like a martyr
But it’s getting harder than I thought
I noticed these too while I was listening to it just now, it did flow well, but I fucking hate his voice on these parts. The "aww" sound in thought just exposes how hoarse it is, omfg.
They’ll appreciate me when I’m gone, they say it was I’ll, right?
The way I kill mics? But the way I feel right now?
It just feels like I’m so done with this sh-t I might as well wipe
I have nothing else to give you, nothing left to contribute
Farewell I bid you, but before I go, my last gift to you
Ladies and gentleman, Slaughterhouse I give you!
Word.
