Eminem-Recovery Vs Lil Wayne-Tha Carter III(Sales Analysis)

Postby Pistolpoppin » Oct 21st, '10, 01:10

US Sales
Eminem - Recovery released June 18, 2010
Total Sales (Week Ending October 17 2010): 2,818,000 (approx 4months)

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III released June 10, 2008
Total Sales Year Ending 2008: 2,880,000 (approx 6months)
Total Sales (Week Ending October 17 2010): ~3,500,000 (approx 2years, 4months)

This just goes to show that Eminem is the Sales King

In two weeks time Eminem would have outsold Lil Waynes 2008 total in 2010 with both being released around the same time of the year.

This is just in the US, someone might want to check out the worldwide figures?

Any thoughts?

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

If you are aware of both, then this thread is just an observation.

But when you can't even get the album name right, it's obvious that you thought 'how can i go along with the sheep and put down Wayne today', even though you know nothing about the artist.

My 2 cence for sense.
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Eminem
Big l
Biggie Smalls
Royce Da 5'9"
Jigga

I actually like some of Waynes stuff, infact I have 45 songs with wayne on it in my library.
I'm not putting Wayne down at all, I have been giving him props in other threads and I'm not dissing him in this one.

What I was trying to do Is compare the sales two of the greatest rap albums in recent years with each other (in terms on total sales, rate of sales and consistency)

Why all the hate on TR??
C'mon Son, I'm just trying to contribute, you should too

If you don't care about sales, then don't comment and bitch :shakehead:

Yeah of course, if he accidentally types up the wrong album then that automatically makes him a Wayne-hating sheep :facepalm

Your logic is astounding.
