Best song on Recovery lyrically?

Postby Innovation » Oct 21st, '10, 22:49

I know Recovery is slated for this very reason, but forget that for this thread.

This is a thread to get opinions on the best song lyrically on the album. I've mainly looked at the multi-syllable rhyming side of it. There's not many there, but they are there if you read the lyrics.

I'd have to say it's between Almost Famous, Untitled or even possibly So Bad. On Fire has some decent multis. I do like the way he rhymes on Going Through Changes, though.

Thoughts?

The song where he's very lyrical. That one.

Just kidding. Probably Cold Wind Blows or So Bad.

How in the world does this top Almost Famous/WBD/CWB?

It has more emotion, yes. But it doesn't even come close to many other tracks lyrically.

Would agree that Love The Way You Lie is the best, apart from the window pane business. Going Through Changes is really good, too. Parts of So Bad, Almost Famous, You're Never Over and Cold Wind Blows are up there as well IMO.

I guess because it actually tells a story with the twist at the end
they are all great songs with great lines.
