The 2005 New York Concert

Postby MikeNUFC » Nov 26th, '10, 14:41

Just watching through it on YouTube and it's hard to watch.

I mean, watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-BeXwXs-po from 5:17 onwards when he's "rapping" (I use that loosely) Evil Deeds, it's horrible - just that zombie look from the drugs, it's creepy as fuck and damn saddening.

The whole show was horrible as fuck, a zombified Eminem mumbling his worst songs and a murdering a few classics. I find it amazing that people even try to claim the drugs played little effect in the Encore era.

To think the genius of 1997-2002 could turn into the horrible rapper/perfomer/person that we saw in the 03-08 drug phase shows how fucking powerful addiction is. Scary.

It is still beyond me that a big guy like Dr. Dre didn't tell Eminem to step up his game when they were in the studio together.

Ass like that, Rain man, Just lose it, Big weenie, Evil deeds and Never enough all had respectable beats but got ruined by Eminem. Well, when thinking of it... Just lose beat was bullshit anyway.

But how much can you do to reach an addict? The best thing would have obviously been to tell him that the songs were shit (who knows, perhaps Dre did) and there would be no album until he delivered decent material... But that's not how labels work when there's money to be made.

True. Encore sold 11 million copies, even for a perfectionist that's impossible to refuse.

Is there even any proof that Eminem was hooked on drugz? Some Stanz will just believe whatever ridiculous shit he claimz...you're like defense attorneys...can't win the case, but will go da extra mile.

His concert tickets for general admission were $350 per person for all the AMT3 shows.

Least he got paid ;)

And I honestly think Europeans are just butt hurt that he didn't perform for him.
