How is it that the (Critics) gave it better score than Recovery?

Recovery is much better in all subjects.
Flow, Lyrics, Beats and many more.

Kanye has so many features to make that album but Recovery hasn't

And it got better score.

It's simple, beats/production is more important to critics that lyrical content and skill. Im not saying kanye hasn't got these though.

Unfortunatly Here is right.I doubt those critics are really into hip-hop,they just evaluate by the ear and Kanye's productions are pretty good.I guess that's all that matters to them.

Yeah, I've been saying this all this time. MBDTF is extremely overrated, it isn't even the best rap album of 2010 (not even close imo) , and it gets so much praises its ridiculous.
I mean... it got better scores than MMLP.

Coz Kanye does a better job marketing his music. Power video, Runaway movie, twitter,drama, album cover, features, album title.... people tend to be dazed by hype and all the unimportant stuff. Lyrics, message and emotion take time to sink in

I think MBDTF > Recovery as an album goes, Recovery still has fillers, if I took the best 11 tracks from Recovery and make it into an album then those 11 tracks > 11 tracks from MBDTW, Em needs to take care of the tracklist better next time, it's not about quantity.

MBDTF is overrated as hell though.

After listening to this, AND hearing it hailed as "track of the year" i never felt the desire to download the album.
