Eminem's not pop, at ALL. Some of the beats are pop-ish, but that in no way makes the songs bad. Recovery, almost every song is good. Encore, like half of them are good and half of them are just a big fart joke

And, as for putting Recovery above Relapse. That's slightly difficult for me, I still can't decide which one I prefer and I'm pretty sure I enjoyed Relapse more at the time but...
When considering them as coherent albums, Relapse has those two fuckers "Crack a Bottle" and "Beautiful" which will forever ruin the memory of a nearly-perfect album to me.
Where as Recovery doesn't have a weak track. And I used to think it was incoherent with the production but actually, the more I listen to it - the more it all starts to gel and actually, all the production works as production for a single album. It's just not maybe structured as tightly and has no particular direction, but... it seems to all improve with time with it.

Eminem had always his style, but since Recovery repeats for other artists, he's giving on album pop sound etc...

That's why I said the beats are pop-ish, but Recovery itself, isn't pop, it's hip hop. But, some of them sound like exactly the type of beat he'd jump on
