difference in Em's voice? Because I do, and I wanted to know if it was JUST me. Lol

I noticed that too, and the thing I wonder is: Was that his REAL voice during the SSLP and he purposely stopped doing het "high nasal" voice in the MMLP? Or his voice just changed?

Because if you listen to the original recording of "Rock Bottom", that high-nasaly voice ain't there

how about from tes to encore..

how about from encore to relapse..

how about from relapse to recovery...

See the pattern? It happens with every album...

the next album will sound different too.

Just different microphones pick it up differently but young em had virgin vocals! That's why they were high pitched tbh..

Hope his next album goes back to slim shady and much better voice for that kind music like first 2 albums.

Then how do you explain ems massive voice change from encore to relapse lol?
I'm sorta confused is to why the 1995 em sounds completely different from 99 to 2010...

Nah, I'm sure all his screaming didn't deepen his voice.

Screaming only damages your vocal cords.

A deep voice comes from having long vocal cords.

Screaming makes your voice sound hoarse and rough, which isn't the same thing at all. When your vocal cords start sounding raspy, it means they're rubbing together, which isn't good for them, it can damage them over the long-term, which is why many screamers end up with fucked up voices.

We kinda saw that happening to Em during the Re-Up era after all that heavy touring in 2005 but I'm sure he relaxed his voice when he was on hiatus but all this shouting he's been doing recently can't be good for him at all....
