'99/'00 SSLP/MMLP is my FAVORITE where he just took the world by storm, with something fresh and new noone was used to, although his most meaningful work is presented in '02/'03.
My songs can make you cry, take you by surprise
And at the same time, make you dry your eyes with the same rhyme
See what you're seeing is a genius at work
Which to me isn't work, so it's easy to misinterpret it at first,
Cuz when i speak, it's tongue in cheek
I'd yank my fuckin teeth before id ever bite my tongue
I'd slice my gums, get struck by fuckin' lightning twice at once

09/10!

Delightfully twisted (Relapse) & Emotive Passionate music (Recovery). I also prefer Em's now mature attitude compared to his controversial all Nike wearing w1gger attitude.

the SSLP and MMLP days. everything about that was so cutting edge, confrontational, witty and insanely brilliant. I enjoy no other music more then that era of song writing and performances watched on youtube. I would do anything to go back to that time frame and enjoy it all over again
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it
Spend a million a track and went over my budget
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore - I just murdered the alphabet

I wasn't aware of Eminem succes during the Sslp/Mmlp/Tes era. (Yeah i know.)
But the Sslp Mmlp era was his peak i think, lyrically. He was just the best and i hardly speak a track when i listen to the whole albums.

But my favorite is the 8 Mile Soundtrack/TES era. Run Rabbit Run, Lose Yourself, Till I Collapse, Stimulate .. There's no better songs if you want to kick someone's ass.

2009/2010 was good though, because I kinda like seeing eminem beatin' easily other rappers on their track. (Drop The World, Roman's Revenge, Forever, All She Wrote, Where I'm At) and Hello Good Morning, flow wise, was awesome. "Cheetos Doritos .." ahahah :y:

Easily 97-01 he did some of the funniest, most twisted shit i've ever heard from a music artist.
Even after blowing up in 99 he released MMLP, a commercial album with skill and content you normally only hear underground and it became one of the biggest albums in hip hop history.

What's your favourite era?

I put this in chit-chat 'cause it's been done a ton of times. :coffee:
