Shady Records would gain attention but lose respect, I'd be alright with it as long as Em makes sure he doesn't rap about stupid shit ever again

I would not be happy. Understand, I have no hate for Soulja Boi. The man entertains people (not me) and has made more money than I probably ever will, good for him. However, since he does not fit into the Shady family at all, I would see this signing as motivated 100% by money, which Eminem has never been about.

NONE of you would change your perspective on Em, it would be the exact same view on him and his music, maybe you'd dislike Shady Records a bit but nothing would really change. This situation is very similiar to when there were threads asking "What if Em did a song with Wayne?!"

Em doing a song with Wayne was actually pretty much inevitable lol. Atleast, that's what it seemed to me anyways. Both of them are the most popular rappers in the game right now so obviously they're going to bump heads on a track atleast once in their careers.
If Em signed Soulja Boy, I'd be disappointed. He signed Stat Quo, who wasn't much better at the time and is in a group with Bizarre, who imo is worse than Soulja Boy, though so it's meh
