There's a reason labels have marketing teams and such. It can be in the lyrics, it can be in the hook, It can even be the ORIGINAL NAME. It would not have been named that when it was actually released though.

Well, it's just what I probably would have named it if I didn't know what it was called. My next choice would be Addicted. Addicted is the better name for a radio single, obviously, but had she not sung that part of the song, I would have never thought it was called Cocaine. Cocaine isn't that bad of a name, to me anyway

And that is exactly how it got this name in the first place. It's not a bad name, don't get me wrong. It's just stupid to name the first single that and there's no way in hell the label would allow that, especially for this album.

And yeah, all names referring to any type of drug (except syrup, apparently) is censored on the radio and music video channels. They censor the end of "Hip Hop Saved My Life" by Lupe Fiasco and completely ruin the fucking point of the song, but yeah.
