Well any relapse track to me is class.And from the sounds off the song deffoo gonna be a relapse classic.The accents and flows automatically hook me into the song.Always different and switching it up each track as well.Cant wait for full.More so than any leak

His old fans also like Recovery over Relapse. Most of the people here are old fans and as you can see, most of them prefer Recovery :facepalm

Old or new, whatever.Its all matter off opinion end off the day.People who grew up with em since my name is might prefer relapse over recovery or the other way around.Cant label what type off fans prefer which album is better.

He's the one lableing the new fans as the ones that like Recovery. I simply said that most, old fans and new fans put Recovery over Relapse. I'm not using that as a way of saying that Recovery is better than Relapse by fact. I'm just saying that most Eminem fans OLD AND NEW put Recovery over Relapse.

Relapse = failed SSLP
Recovery = fairly successful TES

Recovery is VERY similar to The Eminem Show so you should stop bitching about wanting the old Em back because you got it to a certain extent.

Yet, Recovery as every Eminem album, is different and a switch in style though :y:

Eh, Chief, I gotta disagree with you about that. Relapse is very much like SSLP to me, but Recovery doesn't feel like TES at all. I dunno, I guess the content and his voice sometimes reminds me of TES, and it's obvious he was shooting for that TES sound, it's just it kinda...failed...lol

Eminem admitted himself that he was inspired by SSLP while making Relapse. Relapse is 0% like SSLP. When I say that I mean that Encore is more like SSLP than Relapse. The only similarity is the crazy subject matter...that's executed in a different manner.

While The Eminem Show is a personal, emotionally driven mature album. And Recovery is exactly that. Also take notice that I'm not comparing the quality of the albums.

I like Relapse a lot so I'm not saying that Relapse is a fail compared to SSLP. And though I really like Recovery, I'm not saying that it's on TES's level.

Relapse = SSLP / MMLP in the sense that Em was going back to shock value, story telling and being funny. You can't deny that he achieved this, but he just felt that it got old fast so he changed it up with Recovery.

Recovery is personal, yeah, but so are the majority of his songs. Relapse had them too. Doesn't mean anything.

The Eminem Show has a feeling that Recovery doesn't.

Recovery doesn't feel like an Eminem album, it feels like Eminem hopping on a bunch of random beats, not a cohesive "show".

Don't get me wrong, I love Recovery, and am glad Em dropped the accents because they got stale hearing them too often on Relapse, but it's not like TES imo.

I forgot to say that (some) of the shock value on Relapse felt really forced and imo Relapse wasn't funny outside Hello & BFB. Relapse has what SSLP had but to a much lower extent which imo makes it a failed SSLP. But, of course Relapse has better aspects like the production and his flow.

Relapse had 2 personal songs which is really low for an Eminem album.

Recovery of course is not gonna be a carbon copy of the Eminem show so it's gonna feel different if not then that would be a problem. I agree with Recovery not feeling cohesive but if you look at it right then you'll see that Recovery has most of the characteristics TES had.

Eh, anyways I love Relapse & Recovery and I'm glad he's moving forward and always switching it up.
