Who here has actually listened to Arcade Fire (they beat Em)

Arcade Fire's album beat out Recovery for Album Of The Year. I hear all of you whining about how Em got robbed, but have any of you actually listened to Arcade Fire? I feel like most of the posts on here are very ignorant. Arcade Fire is one of the most innovative bands doing it right now, incredible lyrics and album quality. Neon Bible (their previous album) is one of my favorites,any genre, of the past decade.

And just FYI, I too think Em should have won. I'm just intelligent enough to not write off Arcade Fire and go on a "Em got robbed!" rant.

I have never herd of them or listened to them and I never will but I doubt they sold half as much as Eminem / Recovery. They probably never will and their next album could be garbage, Whereas Eminem has the longevity and is a popular artist even with people like the The Beatles and Elton John and after a little over a decade of dominating this is the first time his been up for album of the year (may be wrong) so it seems only fair to pay such great respect to one of histories greatest artists by presenting him with the top award.

so yes, I think it is very justified to say Eminem was robbed.
