I get your point but everyone has to move on.
I disagree with the Matured thing aswell. It is a typical Eminem fan cop-out excuse, The dude still raps about some childish shit (even more childish than before) My beef isn't even with the content. It is the way his whole....hmm how to word it so i won't be misunderstood.
Em used to strive on perfection in every aspect, but a lot of things he does now seem forced or half assed. Some even done to please the dictators at Interscope. He used to have 1 Single made to please them the rest of the album was flawless. Hell even the singles where not too bad. But now you can go through his recent albums and not get that sense that he really spent hours upon hours crafting "The next big project" Which is what ALL true Hip Hop legends should be striving to do...
Edit: Beaten by posters who obviously misinterpreted my op. Which tbh was vague and my own fault :P

I knew i should of included (but that's a different debate) in that post![]()
It's because rhyming isn't the only thing that makes a Hip Hop album.

Rhyming = insane
Production = more than good
Subject matter = good, but "ran into the ground"
Concept = amazing
What else does an album need?

I think he forgot how to write after Rehab, but Relapse was a masterpiece IMO, recovery is just not Em
Maybe em was butthurt that Relapse didn't sell THAT much, and thought what the heck, i start givin a fuck now what mainstream fans think and do an album to please teenage girls...
I just hope he chose this style and not fallen off, so that we can actually get some good stuff later when he realises this style doesn't fit him at all

How can the world's highest selling artist of the decade all of a sudden be a sell-out NOW? smh
You guys act like he was an underground mc, who no one had ever heard of until 2010
MMLP sold 1.77 million copies first week in USA alone you dumb cunts
smh
