After my last thread, it's time to be serious. I don't have alot of time but I'm going to sum it up pretty quick. This is why he's better than artists like Nas, Lowkey and Pac who sound the same on every album:
- It completes his catalog. It proves how versatile he is as an artist. I don't think it was commercial, I think it was trying to appeal to everyone. It shows even after all these years he has the most flows in his discography than any other rapper.
- Going Through Changes, Love The Way You Lie, and You're Never Over are some of the most emotional pieces of work he's ever done.
- He's still as witty, ironic and satirical as ever. Songs like WTP prove that he acknowledges the only reason he went anywhere with his career is because he's white.
- It's lyrical progression. His subject matter has improved ten fold. He still has just as good, if not better multis than his prime. He shows that in songs like "On Fire", "Going Through Changes", and the first couple verses of "Love The Way You Lie".
- I personally thought the beats on the album were all dope except So Bad which just didn't fit with the rest of the album at all.
- It's the album with the least filler. Every single track on there matters. Even The Eminem Show had Drips and Say What You Say, while SSLP had Cum On EveryBody & My Fault.
