I always found it so weird that during the Relapse era Em could perform his old songs just fine. Now when he performs his old songs it sounds like hes gonna cough up a lung, wtf did he do to his voice in that year?

Well,personally, I think Eminem is a better performer now than he was in 09 but he tried harder in 09 'cause he had more to prove. And now his playback really brings down the sound, imo

When you hear him performing his old songs(i'm guessing your thinking of recent performances?) it is usually far into a long setlist and his voice is hoarse. Relapse-era however was different.

I made a thread about Relapse's performances (Insane, Underground, Lose Yourself, We Made You, Crack a Bottle etc) being better than every post-Recovery performances .. I'd exclude the Renegade performance though

It really saddens me Relase-inem left us so soon. He may have had weird hand motions in live performances, but now he STILL has those, but not the cool music and refreshed, positive vibe he had in 2009. Seeing 2009 Eminem rapping live made ME feel like a cool breeze was blowing over me just watching/listening to him.

2009 Eminem could have saved the world from its dying state. But the world is so determined to die, 2009 Eminem could not continue existing, so we have this 2010-present horror.
